Request for Proposals
The California Rural Indian Health Board, Inc. (CRIHB) has been working with the Department of Health Care Services Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS) and various Indian health stakeholders to identify ways of increasing access for American Indian and Alaska Native in need of substance use disorder treatment services. CRIHB is requesting bids for a consultant to conduct rapid assessments of CRIHB member Tribal Health Programs (THPs) to facilitate contracting and reimbursement for SUD treatment services through local county/regional DMC-ODS. CRIHB is seeking a consultant to conduct readiness assessments and prepare a road map for 4 to 8 member THPs to begin seeking reimbursement for traditional healers, natural helpers, and culturally-specific evidence-based substance use disorder treatment services expected to be allowed for Tribal/Urban Indian Health Providers under the State of California 1115 Waiver Extension.
