PATHWAYS to INJURY PREVENTION
The California Rural Indian Health Board (CRIHB) and the California Area Indian Health Service (IHS) are co-sponsoring this 3½ day Introduction to Injury Prevention training course. This course is a required prerequisite for the IHS fellowship and other more advanced IHS injury prevention training courses.
Participants will be introduced to the core components of the public health approach to preventing injuries among American Indians. Throughout the course, participants will work in small teams to address specific injury issues based on actual Tribal communities throughout the country.
