HOW TO JOIN CRIHB

The CRIHB Membership is made up of any Tribe or Tribal Health Organization in California providing direct health care and health related services to Indians in California, which is governed by an Indian governing body, and makes timely payment of dues and fees is eligible to designate two Directors and one Alternate Director to the California Rural Indian Health Board (CRIHB) from its own governing body.  Said Directors must be members of Federally recognized tribes.  For Associate Members, the annual membership fees are due and payable on the Thursday preceeding the January Board of Directors meeting; which is held the fourth weekend of January.

CRIHB MEMBERSHIP PROCESS

HOW TO APPLY VIA MAIL:

  1. Complete and print the CRIHB membership application
  2. Submit an executed resolution
  3. Complete and submit the delegate certification form which designates two delegates to sit on the CRIHB Board.
  4. Mail all documents along with your payment to:

    National Indian Health Board
    Washington, DC – The United States’ 564 federally‐recognized tribes claim victory with today’s
    historic passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. The House passed the Senate’s
    health care reform bill by a vote of 219 to 212 which includes the reauthorization of the Indian Health
    Care Improvement Act (IHCIA), placing in effect health care legislation that American Indians and
